April is Rosacea Awareness Month and Montana Medical Aesthetics Clinic would love to give you some information about this chronic disorder as well as ways that we can help!
Rosacea affects approximately 16 million Americans and 415 million people worldwide. It impacts quality of life and affects one’s personal appearance.
Rosacea is a chronic disorder with flare ups and remissions. It usually begins after the age of 30 with flushing, redness to cheeks, nose, chin or forehead. If left untreated, the redness from Rosacea can become more rough and persistent, often developing visible red blood vessels. Men, in particular, can often develop a nose that is more swollen and bumpy.
